Lyceum 2021 | Together Towards Tomorrow
Geophysics allows us to acquire immense information about the subsurface for a low unit cost.
It is cost effective, for the amount of data it supplies, non-intrusive and environmentally friendly, it reduces risk, and increases insight about the subsurface. This panel will discuss a variety of geophysical methods (borehole geophysics, GPR, electromagnetics (EM), seismic methods, etc.) and how they are used to image and delineate geologic stratigraphy, structure, hydrogeologic conditions, geologic hazards, and concrete infrastructure.
