How to install Target for ArcGIS Pro using the silent install method

Objective:
I want to install Target for ArcGIS Pro using the silent command.
Or
I need to install Target for ArcGIS Pro on a number of computers.

Resolution:

Before you begin you will need the following:

• Ensure that you have an instance of ArcGIS Pro installed on your machine. To see which version of Target for ArcGIS Pro is compatible to install on your version of ArcGIS Pro, please see the system requirements here .
• A copy of the full setup.exe file (not the web installer) and a Software Install Key which are both available from Technical Support.  To obtain the files, email Geosoft Support and reference the version you need to install and request the Software Install Key

Once you have the files from Support, follow these steps to run a silent install.

Steps to execute the silent install:

1. Create a new folder on the C: drive called C:\GeosoftInstall
2. Copy the installation *.exe and the Install Key to this new folder.
3. Rename the .exe file to something simple such as setup.exe
4. Launch the Command Prompt as an Administrator.
5. Navigate to the GeosoftInstall folder – cd C:\GeosoftInstall
6. Run a silent installation using the following command:

setup.exe -silent -agreeToCASL -clientkeyfile=C:\GeosoftInstall\DesktopApplications.key
