Global collaboration in the time of coronavirus

Like other mining companies around the world, Newmont is facing unprecedented times due to the ongoing global pandemic. Over the last few months most of the geoscientists in the company have spent at least some of their time working from home.

Seequent tools have been critical during this period in allowing continuing collaboration within the exploration teams. Two examples will be discussed in this presentation, including how Leapfrog Geo was used to adopt a company-wide modelling template which was shared in Central. And how Central has been used to collaborate on exploration plans.
