AGS Res2DInv and Res3DInv System Requirements

A modern PC with 4GB of RAM or more is sufficient for using Res2DInv, and inversions can be completed within a few minutes. Res3DInv can support up to 256GB of RAM for large surveys or timelapse inversions. Both Res2Dinv and Res3DInv benefits from having more CPU cores, but it is more advantageous to have additional cores when upgrading from 4 to 16 CPUs rather than from 18 to 32.

Lastly, Res3DInv uses the hard drive for buffering, so having a big and fast SSD is necessary for larger surveys. Overall, Res2DInv and Res3DInv are designed to be fast and efficient, and most modern computers easily meet the requirements.
